Children's & Family Ministries

Our Children's ministry exists to equip kids to change their world.  We want to impact the children of our community and beyond with the message of Christ's love.

The Children's Ministry Team is in place to help children grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ through relevant Biblical teachings, positive role models, and esteem building.  The Children's ministry at FBC is dedicated to help children, 3 years through 6th Grade, discover God's plan for their lives and is dedicated to impacting future generations. 

KIDS CHURCH

Kids Church is a unique worship service for our 1st-4th graders.  Kids Church takes place during our Sunday morning worship time and allows the kids to dive into God's word through Bible study, praise and worship, and other awesome activities.

LIL'K

Lil'K is a time for preschoolers to experience their very own worship service which takes place during the Sunday morning worship time.  LIL'K is an interactive program which takes the preschoolers on an adventure with Kai and his friend, Lil'K.  Each week they'll discover exciting Bible stories, sing fun songs, learn Bible verses, and many other exciting activities.

OTHER CHILDREN'S MINISTRY OPPORTUNITIES

VBS  -  During the summer kids 4 years old through 6th Grade can be a part of an awesome weeklong celebration at Vacation Bible School.  You wouldn't want your kids to miss the exciting Bible study, outrageous recreation, awesome crafts, and much more!

KAOSS   -  KAOSS is the 1st-6th Grade Wednesday night service.  KAOSS is a high-energy service with many different components.  Each week the kids will engage in incredible music and lessons, Bible verse learning, and small groups.  KAOSS is just eh thing to get your kids through the week.

UPWARD   -  Upward is a basketball and cheerleading program for kindergarten through 6th Grade.  The Upward ministry involves building the self-esteem of every child, teaching every child Godly character through the person of Jesus Christ, and sharing with every child the need for salvation.  Through Upward we are committed to do whatever it takes to recognize that "Every Child is a Winner!"

SUMMER CAMPS   -  Are your kids ready for an adventure of a lifetime?  If so, Jr. Kidz Kamp or Kidz Kamp is the thing for them.  Our 1st through 3rd graders enjoy three event-filled days of swimming, crafts, recreation activities, Bible study, and much more at Tishomingo State Park.  The 4th through 6th graders have four action-packed days of swimming, ropes course, outrageious games, Bible study and a whole lot more at Shocco Springs.
